WHO WE ARE

We think good relationships are vital, in business and every area of life. So we'd like to build a relationship with you, our customer, by telling you a bit about where we came from and what we care about.

TONY The meat cutter extraordinaire here at Tony's Custom Meats, Tony is the owner/operator of our local, family-owned business. From the age of 13, Tony began learning the craft of meat cutting from his father in their family-run, Hayden, Idaho grocery store. With over 40 years of meat cutting experience in local retail and custom cutting operations, Tony offers a vast knowledge base and amazing expertise.

Tony is a true master meat cutter. His work bears out his belief that there is not only a science to cutting meat, but also an art. Tony is committed to quality customer service. He loves getting to know his local customers and building strong, lasting relationships with them and with the community.

Tony is also a committed husband, father, and grandfather. As a long-standing member of the Coeur d'Alene community, he is also invested in the future of our youth and supports the local 4-H families and their efforts toward livestock education and fund-raising.

Honest, straightforward, diligent and fun, Tony enjoys the adventure of business ownership. If you're in the area, drop in — he'd love to meet you! (And he'd love you even more if you bring him a cherry pie.)

TAMMY Tony's wife and the co-owner of Tony's Custom Meats, Tammy serves as the office manager and works at the shop part-time. She also works part-time from home as an Admin for the local nonprofit, 2nd Chance Discipleship Ministries.

Tammy is the heart and soul of our family — as a wife, mother of two, and grandmother of eight. She grew up in Coeur d'Alene, and remembers when trees, dirt roads and logging trucks were more a more frequent sight than today's traffic. She invested almost three decades in elementary and middle school education in the Coeur d'Alene area. Creativity and integrity are at the center of everything she does, and we're willing to bet that you've never met anyone who can make you laugh like she can. Stop by for a chat! The coffee is always as warm as the conversation.

OUR STAFF In addition to Tony and Tammy, you may meet several other employees helping with wrapping, meat prep, and customer service. We are proud of our staff and couldn't do it without them!
